Yes – well‑behaved dogs are very welcome in all Sophie Allport shops, not just assistance dogs. We love meeting our customers’ four‑legged friends and are always happy to see them browse alongside you.
To help everyone enjoy their visit, dogs should be either carried or kept on a short, fixed lead at all times, and owners must remain in full control throughout their time in the shop. Customers are fully responsible for their dog’s behaviour.
If a dog becomes disruptive or shows any signs of aggression, our team may politely ask the owner to leave the shop with their dog. We also reserve the right to refuse entry where a dog appears likely to cause disruption or distress to others.
